WordCounter One is a multifunctional online tool for text analysis. The service instantly counts the number of words, characters (with and without spaces), sentences, paragraphs, and also estimates the approximate reading time. It is ideal for copywriters, editors, students, marketers, journalists, and anyone who works with text content.

What You Can Analyze with WordCounter One:

• Word count — includes all words, numbers, and abbreviations.
• Paragraphs — detected based on line breaks.
• Sentences — counted by punctuation marks (period, question mark, exclamation mark).
• Characters with spaces — all characters including spaces, punctuation marks, and line breaks.
• Characters without spaces — spaces are excluded, but punctuation and special characters are counted.
• Visible characters (without formatting) — HTML tags, special symbols, and markup are ignored. Only readable text is analyzed.
• Estimated reading time — calculated based on average reading speed.
• Word frequency — generates a map of unique words with repetition count and percentage. Helps analyze the most frequently used words and their usage in the text.
• Selected text fragment — analysis of only the selected part of the text: word and character count with/without spaces.

⚙️ User Settings

• Visible text only
  When this option is enabled, the service excludes HTML tags, Markdown markup, and special characters from the count. Only visible (readable) text is analyzed.
• Emoji counting
  You can enable or disable counting emojis as individual words.
• Text autosave
  The autosave feature helps prevent accidental text loss.
  Data is stored only in your browser. For important documents, we strongly recommend creating manual backups, as autosaved text may be lost when clearing browser data, reinstalling the browser, or exceeding storage limits.
